 2006 CAE Prospectus

The Committee on Architecture for Education (CAE) is a large and active group of architects and allied professionals concerned with the quality and design of all types of educational, cultural, and recreational facilities. While a large number of CAE members practice in the K–12 and higher education markets, the committee looks to serve the needs of those in the entire education market, from pre-K through adult learning programs.

CAE currently consists of more than 6,000 architects from the private and public sectors, all of whom share a particular interest and/or expertise in the design of education facilities.

CAE identifies national educational facility issues critical to architects and works to strengthen relationships with allied organizations, client groups, and the public. In particular, CAE members are interested in the physical state of schools across the United States, believing that too little attention has been paid to the design of educational facilities and the effect design can have on the education that takes place in school buildings. The knowledge community also focuses on effective project delivery, team building, collaboration, project management, financial management, communication skills, management skills, and cutting-edge design issues for architects who provide the diversified services associated with educational architecture.

CAE events and publications provide a variety of sponsorship opportunities throughout the year that can accommodate a diverse range of marketing strategies.

To discuss sponsorship opportunities and availability, please contact Doug Paul, Director Professional Practice at dpaul@aia.org or 202-626-7386.
