The AIA Design-Build Knowledge Community promotes the importance of architects as leaders in the delivery of design-build services and serves as the recognized voice for the advancement of best practices related to the architect's role in design-build delivery. Members of the group generate and disseminate knowledge, including case studies and timely practice tools, to help AIA members understand the viability of the design-build project delivery method in their practices.

AIA Design-Build supports the sharing of knowledge regarding the design-build project delivery method with AIA members, allied professions, academia, and owners. Its members promote a culture that encourages the exchange of information about project delivery methods and strive to create worthwhile relationships with all stakeholders in the design and construction process.

AIA Design-Build publications provide a variety of sponsorship opportunities that can accommodate a diverse range of marketing strategies. The interdisciplinary culture of AIA Design-Build provides an opportunity for sponsors to reach a broad audience. AIA Design-Build members have connections to individuals and entities throughout the design and construction industries that are highly qualified prospective customers and business partners for sponsoring organizations. AIA Design-Build welcomes as sponsors companies that share its commitment to design-build project delivery and the role of architects in it. AIA Design-Build currently consists of more than 7,500 members.
