Rooms at a Glance

Decide which room is most appropriate for your function with our capacity chart and floor plan. You can also take a virtual tour of the AIA meetings rooms.

AIA Boardroom
Seats 54 conference style in two tiers of permanent concentric desks. Holds up to 50+ extra stack chairs around the perimeter and center for a total seating capacity of 150. Room rental includes podium, microphone, registration tables, and signs. Window overlooks courtyard and Octagon Museum.

Frank Lloyd Wright Room
Seats 24 in a hollow rectangle (additional seating can be placed along
the wall, if needed). Room rental includes extra chairs, registration table, and signs. Window overlooks New York Avenue and the Washington Monument.

Louise Bethune Room
Seats 16 in a hollow square, with additional seating to accommodate up to 10 along the wall. This room is suitable for audiovisual presentations. There are no windows in this room. Room rental includes extra chairs, registration table, and signs.

Social Gallery
(evening/weekend only)

150-person capacity for stand-up reception, 75 seated
500-person stand-up reception in Social Gallery and first-floor lobby, 160 seated

Gallery
Flexible seating arrangements accommodate 80 conference/theater, or 40 in a hollow rectangle with additional seating for 40 placed along the perimeter, if needed. Room rental includes screen, registration tables, classroom tables and folding chairs and signs. Round tables, chairs and linen for seated meals are available for an additional rental fee.
