The Women in Architecture Dinner honors the roles women play within the architecture profession and provides a platform to engage architects, interns, and architecture students from across the nation.

Then, remain for a candid discussion with U.S. Virgin Islands architect and entrepreneur Stacy Bourne, FAIA. Drawing from the convention theme of “Design with Purpose,” Stacy will share her experiences designing with purpose for vibrant communities, professional and personal growth, and firm success.

We’re excited to welcome newcomers and to see familiar faces at this annual reception! Come celebrate the diversity of the architecture profession, expand your peer network, and share opportunities and challenges within the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community. This lively event brings together LGBT and straight ally architects, interns, students, and local guests for an evening of networking and camaraderie. Includes one drink ticket and hors d’oeuvres. Close out your time in Chi-Town at the annual Multicultural Fellows Reception*! Spend the evening with friends old and new at AIA Diversity and Inclusion’s closing event that celebrates the achievements of multicultural members recently inducted into the AIA College of Fellows; the 2014 Whitney M. Young Jr. Award recipient Ivenue Love-Stanley, FAIA; and the 2014 AIA Diversity Recognition Program honorees: AIA Miami Architects in the Making, and the Cincinnati Architecture Mentoring Program (Summer CAMP).
