Individuals who are licensed to practice architecture in a country other than the United States are eligible to become international associate AIA members.

AIA Credential
International associate members may use the Intl Assoc. AIA credential with their name.  

Local and State Chapters
Some 300 state and local components serve AIA members around the country. Currently the AIA has components in Hong Kong, Continental Europe, Japan and the United Kingdom as well.  Local component participation provides members the opportunity to network with their peers while keeping them connected with issues that affect their business locally.  Visit your local or state component Web site to learn more about networking activities, educational seminars, and regional updates.

Educational Programs
Fulfill mandatory continuing education requirements and attend the AIA's conventions and workshops—without leaving your office!  Are you not sure how many credits you have accumulated? Members can check their CES transcripts at any time.
