State and Local Relations Releases a New Advocacy Tool for AIA State Chapters

By Zachary Hart, Manager, State & Local Relations

This week AIA State and Local Relations released a new advocacy tool for AIA state chapters. The redesigned State Government Network Legislative Toolkits are available online in a new, easier to access format. The Toolkit contains resources on the AIA’s most common state-level issues: QBS, Stock School Plans, Licensure, Interior Design Licensure, Project Delivery, Codes, Taxes, and Liability. All users will be able to access issue briefs explaining the AIA’s position on each issue as well as research and documentation of the statutory and regulatory landscape of each issue. Members of the AIA’s State Government Network will have access to additional information tailored to help them in their legislative advocacy efforts. Members can find out who their State Government Network representative on the State and Local Relations webpage.
