Tom Leibel, FAIA honored with 2013 Sustainable Growth Award

This year’s AIA National Convention will highlight and celebrate the many ways that AIA Members are demonstrating leadership in communities across the country. Tom Liebel, FAIA, LEED Fellow, personifies the spirit of civic leadership embodied in the AIA’s values. In recent years, Tom has taken a prominent role in public service, leading national design assistance teams, working with public officials on a host of sustainability issues, and contributing to AIA’s efforts to design green building codes. Last week, Tom was recognized in his home state of Maryland with a 2013 Sustainable Growth Award for Leadership and Service.
