ArchiPAC Announces the Winners of ArchiPAC Games

In May, ArchiPAC launched the ArchiPAC Games Campaign and Fundraising Competition to encourage more political involvement. Members of The American Institute of Architects were able to participate in the campaign and fundraising competition through giving or raising donations. There were two awards up for grabs in the fundraising competition – the Gold Cup of Fame (most dollars raised) and Silver Cup of Honor (most members recruited). ArchiPAC is proud to announce ArchiPAC Games Coach Jered Minter, AIA, from Colorado and his team from the Western Mountain Region - Stuart Coppedge, AIA, Ed Vance, AIA, 2012 AIA AZ President Patrick Panetta, AIA, and AIA AZ Executive Vice President Tina Litteral, Hon. AIA.- the winners for both the Gold Cup of Fame and Silver Cup of Honor. During the course of the six month competition they raised $3,700 and recruited 39 members. ArchiPAC Games Coaches Greg Kessler, AIA, and Bill Seider, AIA, who headed the Northwest and Pacific Region team, were in second raising $1,800 and recruiting 22 members. ArchiPAC will recognize all participants and award the winners at the 2013 Grassroots Conference in Washington, DC. Thank you for all your support and for making this campaign a major success!

ArchiPAC would also like to recognize and thank the following members for their fundraising efforts in the ArchiPAC Games Fundraising Competition:

    • Russ Davidson, AIA (NY)

    • Jerry Eben, AIA (NJ)

    • Kevin Flynn, FAIA (MO)

    • Steve Jernigan, FAIA (FL)

    • Bruce Sekanick, AIA (OH)

The ArchiPAC Games Campaign concluded on November, 6th – General Election Day. It raised over $62,000 and recruited 366 members. This has been the most successful year for ArchiPAC’s annual fundraising efforts. It has raised $147,000 since January, which is a 16% increase from last year.
