ArchiPAC Must Raise $100,650 by Convention

ArchiPAC announced that its goal for the AIA National Convention and Design Exposition in Denver is to raise $35,024, enabling it to reach the halfway mark of its 2013 goal. As of today, ArchiPAC has raised $65,626 in 2013, thirty-two percent of the way to its goal of $201,300.

In order to help hit its Convention goal the ArchiPAC Fundraising Committee, comprised of AIA member volunteers, is offering members and staff a multitude of ways to participate and invest in ArchiPAC.

    Annual ArchiPAC Appreciation Reception: AIA members that contribute at least a dime-a-day ($36.50) will receive a complimentary invitation to the Annual ArchiPAC Appreciation Reception. This year’s event, “Pool and Brews,” will be held on Thursday, June 20, at the Wynkoop Brewery Company on 1634 18th Street.     Access into ArchiPAC Lounge: Members that contribute at least $10 in 2013 will receive complete access to the ArchiPAC Lounge at the Convention. The lounge will be open Wednesday, June 19th, 10AM – 5:30PM; Thursday, June 20th, 6:30AM – 5PM; Friday, June 21st, 6:30AM – 5:00PM; and Saturday, June 22nd, 6:30AM – 4:00PM.     AIA Regional Challenge: ArchiPAC will continue to make announcements on regional fundraising efforts on the AIA Advocacy’s social media sites and Contact Wendy Perez Young at to find out how you can advance your region into first place and gain bragging rights.

    CACE vs. the AIA Senior Management Leadership Staff Challenge: CACE is not accepting defeat just yet. The challenge between CACE and the AIA Senior Management Leadership Staff that began at the AIA Grassroots Conference in Washington has been extended until the end of Convention. The AIA Senior Management Leadership Staff currently leads the fundraising competition with 100 percent support for ArchiPAC, raising $7,341. CACE is currently behind with a 39 percent support rate, raising $4,646 in donations. CACE will be making a major push for donations in the next couple of months. This will be an interesting battle to watch!
