AIA Crowdfunding Initiative - Survey

Exploring New Avenues for Architectural Investment

    September 2012

Members,

With only modest gains in the credit markets throughout the ongoing recovery, the AIA has sought new, innovative avenues, to help architects across the country continue to work on projects that strengthen and develop our local communities.

One of these new enterprises is the AIA’s 2012 Crowdfunding Initiative. This groundbreaking venture, while still in development, will provide architects with the ability to select projects of benefit to their community of less than $1 million in overall value, and simply raise funding for these projects through dedicated online investment portals.

Before this program officially launches, we need the input and insights of those in our community to help make the foundations of this project stronger.

To that end, we have designed an internal survey to gauge your views on several key aspects.

Please spend 5-10 minutes going through the short list of questions. You can access the survey by clicking here.

Your opinions and advice will help us improve this initiative with the needs of our members in mind and ensure that the programs launch will be a rousing success.
