AIA Presents: The Affordable Care Act and You

By Shervan Sebastian, Manager, Federal Relations

Since becoming law in 2010, the Affordable Care Act has been debated from the halls of Congress and the campaign trail to dinner tables and corporate board rooms, to ultimately the Supreme Court.

But how does this landmark law affect you and your health insurance? To help you understand what this means, the AIA is hosting a webinar, “The Affordable Care Act and You.” Thursday, December 6, 2012, at 11:00 am EST.

Sarah Dash, a member of the research faculty at Georgetown University's Health Policy Institute and a former Capitol Hill policy advisor, will provide insights on:

    • The goals of the Affordable Care Act

    • Rules that affect small businesses

    • How the bill affects medical facility investments

    • How members can take advantage of provisions in the bill

Don’t miss this very informative session geared towards helping you understand how this law affects your health insurance. AIA members can receive one CES leaning unit.
