By Jessica Salmoiraghi, Director, Federal Regulatory Relations & Counsel

The US Department of Commerce is planning a trade mission to Bogota, Colombia and Panama City, Panama from May 13-16, 2013. The focus of this mission will be to help American firms to begin or expand their exports to these two countries. Specifically, expertise in airports and other transportation planning is needed.

Columbia and Panama represent a large opportunity for American firms as state and private investments are focusing over $30 billion into these projects. For more information, Commerce is holding a free webinar on January 30th at 2pm ET. If you have any questions about this mission, this webinar is an excellent place to get answers from Commerce.
