Federal Agenda Webinar Recording Now Available
By Amanda Stratton, Manager, Grassroots & Advocacy Outreach
Earlier this month, AIA Advocacy staff members conducted four briefing webinars to introduce the five-point legislative agenda for the 113th Congress. These calls served to help those attending the Grassroots Conference in March to prepare for their visit. However, in order to be effective advocates for the profession, it is important that ALL members get the scoop on the AIA’s federal priorities for the next two years.
AIA members can now access that information at any time by watching the recording of one of the four sessions. If you plan on attending the 2013 Grassroots Conference, becoming an advocacy leader in your community, or even just taking part in an action alert at some point this year, we strongly recommend that you watch this recording.
Being informed about AIA priorities when talking to your legislators will help them remember you and your colleagues when they are faced with critical decisions that could affect architects. Prepare yourself for to make a difference by watching the federal agenda webinar today.
