Join Us for Questions about the Trade Mission to Panama, Brazil, & Colombia

By Amanda Stratton, Manager, Grassroots & Advocacy Outreach

Last week, we shared that the US Department of Commerce has updated the infrastructure trade mission to Panama, Colombia to now include Brazil. The trade mission will be held from May 12-18, 2013. The mission will visit São Paulo and Brasilia, Brazil, Bogotá, Colombia and Panama City, Panama. There is a strong emphasis on architecture as these countries are looking to invest over a billion dollars in the near future on much needed infrastructure improvements.

Only 20-25 companies will be selected to participate. To help you navigate this competitive process, AIA Advocacy will be holding a Twitter Q&A session on Tuesday, March 12 at 3pm Eastern. Jessica Salmoiraghi, Director, Federal Relations & Counsel will be on hand to answer your questions about the Panama trade mission, or even about the trade mission program in general.

Now’s your chance to get your urgent questions answered about the AIA & trade missions! Simply tweet @AIA_Advocacy with your questions on March 12 to be on your way to expanding horizons for your firm.

The application deadline is March 22, 2013. For more information about the trade mission, please visit www.export.gov/BrazilColombiaPanama2013.
