Tell Your Exporting Success Story for the Chance to Win $10,000

By Derek Washam, Manager, Federal & International Programs

Have you been successful working internationally? Do you have lessons to share with other small businesses? The U.S. Small Business Administration and Visa are cosponsoring the “2013 SBA-Visa Export Video Contest” to highlight the advantages of exporting and increase awareness of government assistance available to small businesses. By entering, your firm has the chance to win up to $10,000. All you have to do is share your story at http://exportvideo.challenge.gov.

Entry is free, but videos must meet a few requirements. Companies must be a small business by SBA size standards, and have had to use one federal program or service to support the export transaction. Videos must be under three minutes in length and high-resolution. The content must be educational, not promotional.

The deadline for entries is April 5. Winners will be announced no later than May 13, 2013. More information can be found at http://exportvideo.challenge.gov.
