Last Chance to Apply for Trade Mission to Brazil
By Derek Washam, Manager, Federal & International Programs
Friday, August 9 is the deadline for applications for the October Architecture Services Trade Mission to Rio de Janeiro and Recife, Brazil. Be sure to fill out the online application before then to help your practice expand its footprint in one of the world’s largest markets.
This trade mission provides an unparalleled opportunity for you to explore this market. The mission will provide access for your firm that is not available in the U.S. There will be matchmaking meetings to connect you directly with potential clients, site visits to some of the most exciting projects in the country, and briefings with government and industry officials. In one week you will be exposed to a cache of knowledge that will put your practice in a prime position to work in Rio or Recife, or anywhere else Brazil!
The trade mission will offer exceptional opportunities for expanding your practice to Brazil, especially for those with expertise in: port design, airport design, healthcare facilities, industrial design for manufacturing plants, lighting design for commercial use, urban planning (mixed-use neighborhood design, technology, and equipment for “smart cities”), and Building Information Modeling (BIM).
