Making a Difference through Advocacy during National Architecture Week

    As you continue to celebrate architecture and the affect it has on our daily lives this week, you may be wondering what you can do to raise awareness. Luckily, AIA Advocacy is here to help you make a difference! What better way to raise awareness about the importance of architecture and the profession than by making sure your legislators know its impact?

    AIA Advocacy has created the Advocacy Network specifically for this purpose: the ultimate goal is to build a lasting relationship between AIA and Congress, so that every member will be the messenger on key advocacy issues. The Network not only connects AIA staff and components with AIA members, but also AIA members with elected members of Congress. You will even have the chance to connect with other AIA members working on similar issues.

    Signing up for the Network is easy. Simply click here to send an email to indicate your interest in joining. Make sure to include your name and home address so we can make sure you are aligned with the correct legislators.
