The new stadium for the Cincinnati Bengals was designed as the centerpiece of the city’s urban design program for revitalizing the downtown. At 1.8 million square feet, the stadium seats 67,000. The open-air facility provides excellent sightlines of the field, as well as views of the city skyline and the Ohio riverfront. Translucent fabric covers the upper deck along the cantilevered roof.
America’s Favorite Architecture, an AIA exhibition based on a 2007 public poll of the 150 best works of American architecture, ranked the stadium at #101.
