2008 Fellowship Online Application "Walk Through"
We appreciate your patience with our new online submission. For your convenience we have created a "Walk Through" to assist you in the process. Please read the information provided and any instructions prior to opening a page to see what the submission will actually look like.
The deadline for submission is October 19, 2007, at Midnight, Eastern Time.
Deadline and Procedures
The "Deadline and Procedures" will be the first page that opens when you begin your submission. Please read it thoroughly before submitting your application. At the bottom of the page there will be a box for you to check stating that you have read and agree with the deadline and procedures. Click on the "Save and Continue" button to proceed.

Payment Type
The "Payment Type" page will require you to click on the "Submission Fee" button then the "Save and Continue" button.
Payment Information
The "Payment Information " page has a drop drown menu for you to select the type of credit card you will be using (American Express, MasterCard, or Visa). After completing the required fields you will click on the "Charge and Continue" button.
Nominee Information
The "Nominee Information" page has required fields for information pertaining to both you and your sponsor. This page also contains the first form to upload in the last section of the submission labeled "Upload Attachments". It is the "Intern Declaration" page and is to be printed, signed, and converted into either a PDF or JPEG. You will then click the "Save and Continue" button to proceed.

Nomination
The "Nomination" page has the second form you will need for the "Upload Attachments" page. It is the "Signature" page and is to be printed, signed, and converted into either a PDF or JPEG. There is a box for you to check to confirm that you have read and agree to upload the signature page in the required field. Again, you will click the "Save and Continue" button to proceed.

Fellowship Nominee Information
The "Fellowship Nominee Information" page is where you will pick your category of nomination. There are five drop down menus and you are to pick one from the following:
- Promote
Design
Urban
Design Preservation - Advance
Education
Research
Literature
Practice - Coordinate
Led the institute
Led a related professional organization - Ensure
Public service work
Government/industry organization - Service
Alternative career
Volunteer work
Service to society
Your "Summary Statement" (limited to 350 characters) and your "Summary of Achievements" (limited to 4200 characters) will be entered on this page. Click the "Save and Continue" button.

Upload Attachments
The last page of the submission is the "Upload Attachments" page. You are to upload your attachments in the order listed. You can upload three files at a time and it would be advisable to name them accordingly. Each time you click the "Upload Files" button your files will be uploaded and you will be automatically returned to this page to continue uploading your remaining files - three at a time. Then click the "Save and Continue" button.

Submission Summary and Main Menu
You will now be able to view the "Submission Summary" page where you may click on any section to review or revise your submission. At the bottom of the "Submission Summary" page there is a "Save and Complete" button which will take you to the "Confirmation" page and you will receive a popup message confirming receipt of your submission. It is recommended that you print a copy at this time. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the "Main Menu" button where you will see your completed submission. If you are finished at the time click "Logout" in the black menu bar across the top of the screen. Otherwise you can "View", "Edit" or "Remove" from the "Main Menu" up until the submission deadline.
Technical questions can be addressed through the submission link in the upper right hand corner labeled "Problems, Questions, Comments?" found on each page of the submission.
