AIA’s Contract Documents 4.0 Software
The AIA launches an updated version of AIA Contract Documents Software in Spring 2009. The new version-Version 4.0 – includes a number of significant upgrades and new features which make using the AIA’s software easier than ever. Maan Hashem, PMP, CAE, Managing Director, Software & Products Services, provides an overview of the enhancements.

AIA’s BIM Protocol Exhibit and Newest IPD Documents
In October 2008 the AIA introduces the BIM Protocol Exhibit, a new tool which helps manage the use of BIM across an entire project. In addition, the Institute introduces two new agreements for the Single Purpose Entity family of Integrated Project Delivery documents. In this interview, Brad Milton, AIA of the AIA’s Documents Committee provides an overview of these important new documents.

AIA’s 2008 Transitional Agreements for Integrated Project Delivery
Released in May 2008 the AIA’s Transitional Agreements are a comfortable first step into Integrated Project Delivery (IPD). They provide an early collaboration of architect, contractor, and owner in a familiar contracting model. 2008 AIA Integrated Project Delivery Agreements
In May 2008 the AIA released the Institute's first ever agreements for integrated project delivery. Implementing principles and concepts laid out in “ Integrated Project Delivery: A Guide, ” the AIA provides agreements for two levels of integrated project delivery. The first type is transitional and offers a comfortable first step into integrated project delivery; the second type introduces a fully integrated way of delivering a design and construction project. In this podcast two members of the AIA Documents Committee discuss the new agreements, their features, and their potential for application in an integrated project delivery environment.

Overview of the A201-2007
The AIA is about to release the 2007 revisions of Document A201TM and its associated owner-contractor agreements.
