B101™-2007, SP Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Architect, for use on a Sustainable Project

AIA Document B101™–2007 SP is a one-part standard form of agreement between Owner and Architect for sustainable building design and construction contract administration. B101–2007 SP is based on AIA Document B101™–2007, with modifications that address the risks, responsibilities and opportunities unique to projects involving substantial elements of sustainable design and construction (sustainable projects). B101–2007 SP follows AIA Document B101–2007 in the division of services into Basic and Additional Services. B101–2007 SP also includes a new scope of services section that sets forth services unique to sustainable projects. This agreement may be used with a variety of compensation methods, including percentage of construction cost and stipulated sum. B101–2007 SP is intended to be used in conjunction with AIA Document A201™–2007 SP, General Conditions of the Contract for Construction for use on a Sustainable Project, which it incorporates by reference.
