May 6 Primary Elections

On Tuesday, May 6, 2008, two states will hold primary contests: Indiana and North Carolina.

The DesignVote08 team has put together this Web site to help prepare voters in these states for these contests. If you have any questions about the process, please feel free to contact us at designvote@aia.org or 202-626-7403.

Voting FAQs
Voters who are affiliated (registered with a political party) must vote in the primary of the party they are affiliated with. Voters who are not affiliated with a political party may vote in a party primary as long as that party allows it. Both the
Democratic and Republican Parties allow unaffiliated voters to vote in their primaries.
