Super Tuesday - February 5, 2008

Super Tuesday, hailed this year as as Super Duper Tuesday, Tsunami Tuesday, and so on because of the unprecedented number of states with contests (24), will take place on February 5, 2008.

In addition, voters in Maine will participate in a Republican caucus on February 1 and a Democratic caucus on February 10. On February 9, Kansas (Republicans), Louisiana, Nebraska (Democrats), and Washington voters will participate in caucuses and primaries.

The DesignVote08 team has put together this Web site to help prepare voters in Super Tuesday states--and those immediately following Super Tuesday--for their primaries and caucuses. If you have any questions about the process, please feel free to contact us at designvote@aia.org or (202) 626-7403.

The states with Super Tuesday contests are shown below:

States shown in purple are those with both Democratic and Republican races on Super Tuesday.
States shown in blue have only a Democratic race on Super Tuesday.
States shown in red have only a Republican race on Super Tuesday.
