How to Fill out A Self-Report for a Self Designed Activity

Self Designed Activities include research/study/self-guided tours. Study time for the LEED AP Exam would be self-reported on a Self-Designed Activity Self-Report. Self Designed Activities are not eligible for HSW or SD.

    1. Visit WWW.aia.org and click on Education in red;

    2. Click on Sign In on the right;

    3. Enter AIA member number;

    4. Click on Self-Report Form;

    5. Click on Create a New Self-Report Form;

    6. Enter General Course Information

    a. Activity/ Course Title

    b. Learning Units/Hours

    c. Start date

    d. Completion date

    7. Click on Self-Designed Activity then click Save Form and Continue;

    8. Enter 4 things you learned during activity then click Save Form and Continue;

    9. Select Core Area, and then click Save Form and Continue;

    a. Core areas are topics within the curriculum framework.

    10. Select Course Instructional Format. Most SDAs will be asynchronous. Click Save Form and Continue;

    11. Verify that all is correct, and then click red button to submit form;

    12. Click on Self-Report Online Tracking;

    13. Self-Report is Listed, and Will be Reviewed.
