What is an AIA Provider?
AIA/CES Approved Providers are organizations that have been approved by AIA/CES to provide continuing education in accordance with the policies outlined in the Provider Manual. Approved Providers include architecture firms and stakeholder providers, which include associations, government agencies, product manufacturers, and universities. In addition, AIA Components and AIA National in-house departments are also AIA/CES providers.
Member Transcript Service
AIA Members have access to a transcript service recognized by many state licensing boards as proof of attendance of continuing education activities. The transcript includes name of the course, course number, link to a course description, provider, date of course, number of credits, and types of credits. If you are interested in becoming a member, and gain access to the transcript service, please contact AIA Membership at 800-242-3837 option 2.
Design professionals review the course directory for information about approved Providers. Many state licensing boards include language in their administrative rules that most if not all AIA registered courses will be approved for licensure renewal. More information about individual states’ licensing requirements is available on the State Licensing Board MCE requirements map. For more information about the Provider Program, please contact AIA Member Care CES staff at 800-242-3837 option 3.
