Companion today!
The
Emerging Professional's Companion supports the intern in the IDP
process, particularly in gaining credit. The EPC is
updated for current practice models and expanded to include the
varied paths that an intern or licensed architect may consider
during his or her career in architecture. Designed to increase
support, involvement, and mentoring of firms, supervisors and
mentors, all members of the profession can participate in
learning opportunities provided by the EPC.

The Emerging Professional's Companion
for Firms
The EPC exercises and scenarios can be used as content for
beginning programs or as a supplement for existing programs.
The Emerging Professional's Companion
for Architects
The EPC can be a powerful tool in encouraging lifelong learning and
research among architects. Additionally, architects who work with
interns as they complete the Companion exercises and scenarios will
find that they will gain knowledge that will enhance their own
practice.
The Emerging Professional's Companion
for Educators
The EPC can assist the professional practice instructor to
cultivate a mode of lifelong learning and professional development
beginning with an advanced-level course in school. It introduces
and prepares students for the genuine challenge, excitement, and
opportunity that the best internships can offer.
