Athletic Business Conference and Expo

December 3 -  6, 2008
Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center
San Antonio, TX

Web site: http://www.athleticbusinessconference.com

The Athletic Business Conference and Expo’s Facility Design and Construction track is specifically designed for anyone involved in the current or future construction or renovation of a sports, recreation, or fitness facility. Taught by the country's leading sports and recreation architects and consultants, the seminars cover every phase of the building process. Two nuts-and-bolts seminars are offered in each time slot of the Facility Design and Construction track, providing information that will save you time and money as you're planning, funding, and building your new facility. In addition, one preconference workshop will focus on the building process; two seminars in the Commercial Indoor Sports Facilities track will focus on the construction timeline, feasibility, and the latest on construction cost- and energy-saving strategies, while three seminars in the Aquatic Programming and Management track will focus on things from design elements for preventing accidents to how changes in aquatics and aquatic user groups affect facility design.
