Crossroads of Design & Diversity

October 7 -  10, 2008
Hilton Hawaiian Village
Honolulu, HI

Web site: http://www.aiahonolulu.org

Venue: Hilton Hawaiian Village

The 2008 AIA Northwest & Pacific Region Conference is being held in Honolulu, HI on the island of Oahu. Make your plans early as "Hawaii 2008: Crossroads of Design & Diversity" will be an "unconventional convention" -- educational sessions and programs will take advantage of the sights, sounds and beauty of the Pacific Islands, to show off our rich island heritage and diversity of people, architecture and design.

This 2008 region conference will be held in conjunction with the Annual Pacific Building Trade Expo, www.pacificbuildingtradeexpo.com, slated for October 9, 2008 at the award-winning Hawaii Convention Center. This one-day annual expo draws 1700 people and ~225 exhibitors, and is jointly produced every year by AIA Honolulu and Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), Honolulu Chapter.

All AIA members and family are welcome to attend this October 2008 Regional Conference and Expo. Neighbor island pre-and post-conference plans are being discussed. Be sure to check back to the AIA Honolulu for more details as they become available at www.aiahonolulu.org. Click on calendar and upcoming events.
