Guidelines for Submitting to the AIA Events Calendar

AIA Meetings will review and post events hosted by the AIA, its components, and affiliate organizations to the AIA Events Calendar. (Affiliate organizations are limited to one submission to the calendar per month.) The events should be directly related to the ongoing professional development of architects and architecture students. For example, events offering continuing education, annual conferences/conventions, topical conferences and seminars, and annual awards programs are appropriate for the calendar.

In addition, the events must be open to AIA members and/or the general public. Local committee meetings or other invitation-only events are not appropriate.

To be considered, all submissions should include

  • An event title
  • The date, time (if applicable), and location of the event
  • A 50-word description or overview of the event
  • A Web site link for more information

Submissions to the AIA Events Calendar are reviewed and posted daily. AIA Meetings reserves the right to decline any submission received, per the above-mentioned requirements. So if your event is not posted on the AIA Events Calendar, it is because it does not meet the above criteria. For more information and questions, please contact AIA Meetings.
