The AIA Committee on Design (COD) 2008 Ideas Competition provides
an opportunity to examine parallels in design professions with the
automobile industry through a sketch design problem.
2008 COTE Top Ten
AIAExpo2008, near booth 10123
Each year the American Institute of Architects Committee on
the Environment (COTE) invites architects and designers to submit
sustainable designs for the annual Top Ten Green Projects
competition. Entries are judged based on overall design, as well as
by a set of ten measures and supporting metrics such as land use,
bioclimatic design, energy flow, and community connectivity.

Justice Facility Review

The Justice Facilities Review offers the profession an indicator of
proven strategies and the latest trends in the design and
construction of justice facilities in the U.S. The jury chooses
projects for publication that demonstrate quality of form,
functionality, and current architectural responses to complex
justice design issues.
