AIA Roundtables on Sustainable Design
The AIA hosted a series of five Roundtables on Sustainable Design from 2004 to 2006 so that national organizations could begin working towards the goal of sustainability together. With participants from other leading organizations, the AIA sought to create a spirit of cooperation to advance our collective efforts in the pursuit of sustainability.

The first four roundtables focused on a particular aspect of sustainability and the fifth roundtable featured a summary of the other discussions and recommendations for future actions. The Roundtables served to develop a national agenda on sustainable design and will culminate in a national conference on sustainability sponsored by the AIA.
