As a method to ensure the development and longevity of the NAC's
monthly email newsletter , AssociateNews, a call for
nominations is being made to identify an editor for 2007. In its
second year of production, this is a timely moment to join the
momentum as the NAC Communications Committee (CComm), which is in
the process of improving each of the NAC's communication
vehicles.
The 2007 Editors term will begin in October 2007, working
directly with the 2006 Editor. The incoming and outgoing editors
will develop a schedule for the monthly newsletters beginning with
the December 7, 2006 issue. The 2007 Editor, in conjunction with
the NAC CComm, will then develop the content and direction of each
issue, currently distributed on the first Thursday of the month.
The term of this position will end on December 1, 2007.
