The status of energy codes is ever-evolving, and state governments are increasingly pressured to enhance the provisions in their minimum codes. Meanwhile, designers face the challenge of staying current with all these changes. In this podcast, we’ll discuss the adoption of and compliance with advanced energy codes.
David Conover, PE, works for Pacific Northwest National Lab, where he focuses on all aspects of energy codes and standards. He also is actively involved with American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and currently serves on the International Code Council committee that is drafting the ICC green construction code.
