2012 SCHEDULE


    The AIA Energy Modeling Practice Guide serves to not only demystify energy modeling in general but also to provide tips and information that will help architects to better discuss energy modeling; the assumptions, the process, the tools and what the output means to potential design decisions - with their engineers, energy modelers, consultants, contractors, code officials and clients.

    LATEST DEVELOPMENTS

    May 18: AIA National Convention Session, FR318 - The AIA Practice Guide to Integrating Energy Modeling in the Design Process

    March 30: Peer Review period closed; Working Group comments assessment begins

    March 9: Draft Energy Modeling Practice Guide distributed to peer reviewers. All peer review comments are due back to AIA staff no later than Friday, March 30.

    February 27: Peer Review notice distributed to potential reviewers.

    RMI Building Energy Modeling Innovation Summit
    This summit served as the first step in creating a roadmap that will provide leadership, guidance, and a clear path for the industry’s future.
