On-Line Submission FAQ

Please note the newest change to the online submission site for this year:

    • Deadline date is August 24, 2012 before 5:00 pm Eastern Time

How do I know my submission has been received?

Upon submitting your entry you will receive a message stating that you are able to edit your submission until the deadline date. You should make sure your uploaded PDF file can be opened from the submission site prior to the deadline.

What if I want to make changes after I have completed my submission?

You can edit your submission up to the deadline date before 5:00 pm, Eastern Time.

How will I know my attachment was uploaded?

To view your attachment, click the attachment file name in the "Attachment" column located at the bottom of the File Upload page. Make sure it opens and can be viewed as you intended. What you see is exactly what the jury will view.

What if I can not upload an attachment?

First, make sure the file you are uploading is in a PDF format. This is the only type of file able to be uploaded so that we can maintain cross platform compatibility. This ensures that there are no Mac vs. PC questions or issues.

What if I have a PDF file and am still not able to upload the attachment?

All files to be uploaded must be smaller than 4 MB. Please check that your file meets these requirements. The system will not allow anything larger for the jurors’ convenience, time requirements, and server space.

What if I am not capable of converting a file to a PDF?

Most copy centers and local libraries can help you convert your files. Technical support will also help you with your file conversion - they can be reached from the link on the on-line submission labeled “Problems, Questions, Comments?” located in the upper right hand corner of each page.

Why am I limited to the number of pages for my PDF file?

There has always been a limit to the number of exhibits allowed so that the jury has adequate time to review each submission thoroughly.

What if I change my mind and do not want to submit?

The decision to submit your application should be made very carefully before you enter the payment information. Once you have entered your credit card information and click “save and continue”, you will be charged and no refunds will be issued.
