For members interested in joining the AIA’s Home Design Trends Survey panel, you may enroll by completing the background information form.

As a participant, your results will be reported in aggregate with other respondents and the results will be reported quarterly in the AIArchitect. As a valued panelist, you will receive a special e-mail with a link to this report when it is available.

Information for Prospective Participants:

• The survey is open only to principals, partners, or other firm leaders of AIA member-owned firms with a residential specialization
• It is administered entirely online four times each year (January, April, July, October)
• Each questionnaire covers a different element of residential design trends (Home Characteristics, Home Features, Neighborhood/Community Design Trends, Kitchen/Bath)

To enroll in the survey panel and begin your participation with next month’s survey, please take a few minutes to complete the background information form.

The AIA Home Design Trends Survey is conducted quarterly with a panel of 600 architecture firms that concentrate their practice in the residential sector. The surveys cover topics such as home characteristics, home features, neighborhood/community design trends, and kitchen and bath features/products.
