Career StagesIntern Development Program
Educators are typically the first people to introduce an emerging professional to issues of practice. It is critical that those educators, whether while leading a studio course, in a professional practice lecture or other venue, provide the latest information on practice issues to their students. The AIA has developed this site as a resource for educators who wish to use the EPC to enhance their curricula with practice-based learning opportunities. Finally, contact your IDP Educator Coordinator for assistance in providing programs and tools for students in your school.
If you are interested in sharing the EPC with other faculty or students in your school, consider hosting a lunch time session to tell them all about it. To arrange for someone to come and speak at your school, contact idp@aia.org.
Download the Students and the EPC and Educators and the EPC flyers which include frequently asked questions and provides a quick overview of the resource for EPC users.
Read a testimonial from an adjunct assistant professor at Carnegie Mellon University who has used the EPC in her classroom.
