AIA Member Groups and Communities
The American Institute of Architects provides members several opportunities for involvement in AIA Member Groups and Communities as well as for volunteer leadership within these groups and communities. To provide a seamless transition from education to practice, the AIA develops, coordinates, disseminates and provides support events and activities for students, Associate AIA members, Young Architects, IDP Coordinators, and Fellows of the AIA.
Collateral Organizations in Architecture
The American Institute of Architects is one of five collateral organizations in the profession of architecture. The Three E’s: Education, Experience, and Examination
The AIA offers several resources for interns participating in the Intern Development Program (IDP) provided by the National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB).
