WAF President's Letter
Building a Better Wisconsin
Greetings from your Foundation!
With the support of members like you, the Wisconsin Architects Foundation has been a steadfast source of scholarship funds and financial support to architectural education and research.
In 2016, WAF maintained its commitment to scholarship and educational outreach programs. Information on WAF scholarships and grants awarded in the most recently completed fiscal year can be found in the Annual Report.
For 2017, the WAF Board approved a budget that increases our level of scholarship support for architecture students studying at the UW-Milwaukee School of Architecture & Urban Planning as well as Wisconsin students pursuing accredited degrees at architecture schools outside the state. WAF grants also are provided for student chapters at colleges in Wisconsin. In addition, the WAF remains committed to supporting programs for emerging professionals, continuing education for licensed professionals and efforts to enhance the public’s awareness of architecture.
The ongoing success of these valuable WAF programs depends on your continued financial support. That support is more important than ever before in order to meet the challenges of rising college costs and to encourage our talented young people to pursue careers in architecture.
On behalf of the WAF Board of Directors, please consider making a generous contribution today. We also ask you to encourage fellow design and construction industry leaders to join you in supporting the Wisconsin Architects Foundation.
