Creative Economy Development Grants

Wisconsin Legislative Update

AIA Wisconsin supports proposed legislation (Assembly Bill 393 & Senate Bill 284) to create a competitive state program for grants of up to $40,000 to promote artistic, cultural or creative enterprises and support workforce training, arts education and economic development. Grant recipients must secure at least twice as much funding from other sources as the state grant. After public hearings last fall, Senate and Assembly Committees unanimously recommended passage of the grant program.
