Dining by Design, Thursday, October 4
The 2018 WMR Dining by Design program aims to create a series of interactive events throughout Tucson, showcasing some of the best spaces designed by local architects and some hidden gems that make Tucson the rich and diverse city that it is. In 2016, Tucson became the first city in the US to be designated a UNESCO World City of Gastronomy. The Dining by Design program will bring together award winning architecture and showcase some of the best food that Tucson has to offer and that make it worthy of its UNESCO designation. The Dining by Design events will be hosted by local Tucson architects and designers and will be co-hosted by WMR Conference keynote speakers and Track Speakers. Learn more
Leadership Saturday, October 6
AIA National President, Carl Elephante, FAIA, will head Leadership Saturday--where we will bring together leaders from across the states to build leadership networks and reconsider the purpose and value of the WMR from the perspective of AIA's organizational groups. It's not enough to talk amongst ourselves...it's time we transformed AIA WMR, Here+Now. Learn more about Leadership Saturday and the Leadership Call.
Conference Tours; Saturday October 6
We will be conducting a variety of tours at the culmination of the conference on Saturday. As tour information is finalized and becomes available for the available options, it will be shared below.

Act fast, there are only 20 teams available for this 1:8 relationship-building opportunity!
