AIA & WAF Scholarships
The Wisconsin Architects Foundation awards a total of $19,000 in scholarships each year to support students attending the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Architecture & Urban Planning. As part of these WAF scholarship funds, three $2,500 scholarships are awarded to Master of Architecture students. First established in 2006, the “AIA & WAF Scholarship Program” combines national and state resources to increase scholarship support for architecture students pursuing an accredited degree. AIA Wisconsin once again has been awarded the maximum $1,000 AIA Component Scholarship grant, which is combined with $6,500 in WAF scholarship funds to provide the $7,500 in tuition scholarships for three graduate students at UWM SARUP. For the 2016-17 school year, the AIA & WAF Scholarships were awarded to Jessica Lindner, Jeremiah Huth and Sarah Traver. Congratulations to these as well as the other WAF scholarship recipients at UWM. WAF scholarships and grants in support of architectural education are made possible by the tax-deductible contributions by you and other members. Thank you!
