About us

The AIA Central Washington Chapter was formed in 1964 to serve architecture professionals from the central and southwest Washington area, including Yakima, the Tri Cities, Walla Walla, Ellensburg and Moses Lake.

The Central Chapter: serves its communities by enhancing the built environment, promotes the value of excellence in design and planning, offers opportunities for members to gain continuing education credits, and provides seminars and training sessions.

The mission of the Central Washington Chapter is to enhance the visibility, respect and appreciation for the practice of architecture through design and community service.
