About this Course

Selection of Gates & Gate Automation is an introductory, unbiased course that covers: Selecting your type and style of gate, selecting your gate operator, selecting your automated gate components, and providing a safe automated gate.

Learning Objective 1:
Participants will understand how to review and select the appropriate type of gate for your site to ensure safety, ergonomics, and aesthetics.

Learning Objective 2:
Participants will understand how to select the appropriate automation to ensure safety and sustainability.

Learning Objective 3:
Participants will understand how to select the appropriate access control devices to provide ease of use, control, and ergonomics.

Learning Objective 4:
Participants will understand how to select the appropriate obstruction devices and design parameters to ensure a safe automated gate.
