2017 AIAKY/CAAK/HBC Code Workshop
Assembly Means of Egress & Mixed Occupancies (2012 IBC)
AIA Kentucky, the Code Administrators Association of Kentucky and the Kentucky Office of Housing Buildings and Construction once again join forces to present our annual Code Workshop series for architects, code officials, related design professionals and others seeking understanding of the Kentucky Building Code. This year we're bringing in a certified International Code Council instructor to present two 3-hour ICC courses, for a total of 6 hours of education. Workshops are scheduled for three dates and locations:
This program will earn six (6) AIA/CES Learning Units in Health, Safety & Welfare topics. AIA Kentucky will report these credits to AIA for all AIA members attending. We believe the program will also be eligible for six (6) PDUs in health, safety and welfare toward Kentucky state licensing requirements. Individuals are responsible for reporting credits to the Kentucky Board of Architects. AIA Kentucky will provide attendance verification forms. This program has been approved for 6 hours credit for Kentucky Building Inspectors Certification Program.

The seminar also includes a discussion of ICC 300, Standard for Bleachers, Folding and Telescoping Seating, and Grandstands.
