Firmly established in their careers, these architects are working towards the next step in civic, firm, and volunteer leadership. AIA understands the needs of architects early in their post-licensure careers and seeks to develop resources for, and perform research on, this particular stage in the life of architect. The Young Architect Award honors architects licensed years or less who have shown exceptional leadership and made significant contributions to the profession early in their careers.
The Future Forward Grant seeks remove the financial barriers to fund untested ideas from early career professionals and advance exploration, innovation, and disruption in the architecture profession.
