Allied Membership

Allied Membership promotes communication among all members of the design and construction industries.  Allied Membership is open to Individuals and Organizational Representatives who are not otherwise eligible for membership in the American Institute of Architects including:

Those with established professional reputations who are registered to practice their professions where such requirements exist, or persons who are employed outside the architectural profession but are involved in positions allied to the field of architecture. Individual Allied members may include artists, educators, engineers, government representatives,  journalists, landscape architects, planners, manufacturers, distributors and vendors in fields allied to architecture.  Organizational Representatives may include those who are employed by firms in the construction industry engaged in research, design, development, testing, manufacture, distribution, or training for building and construction products or systems.
