All registered architect members must successfully complete 18 learning unit (LU) hours each year, with at least 12 of the 18 LU hours relating to health, safety and welfare (HSW). More information about the AIA CES system requirements can be found on the AIA Education website.

AIA Dayton provides continuing education opportunities for its members and nonmembers on a monthly basis.  A popular program is the Architectural Basics & Bagels (ABB) series, which is generally held on the second Wednesday of the month from 7:30 - 9:00 AM.  In most cases, there is no fee for AIA Dayton members to attend and AIA learning units are provided.  In addition to the early morning ABB sessions, AIA Dayton collaborates with ASHRAE, CSI, and AGC during the year on joint programs and tours, where continuing education credits are also earned.

AIA Dayton offers many Continuing Education opportunities each month. View upcoming events.

If unable to attend the AIA Dayton events, check out AIAU, a place for architects to learn and earn continuing education credits online.
