The building demonstrates a consistent design vocabulary,
inside and out, which extends beyond just the public spaces. The exterior has a
feeling of fluidity that tracks all the way around the building, with the
overlaps inherent to the form, not looking “glued on.” The use of ceramic frit
softens the skin, and provides a contemporary feel. The innovative use of form
for the patient units carries all the way through.
The use of lighting as design is very thoughtfully
accomplished. The interior exudes a sense of calm, in a spa-like atmosphere
