About us

AIA South Jersey represents architect members throughout all areas within Atlantic, Cape May and Cumberland Counties, New Jersey.

AIA South Jersey is a Section of the American Institute of Architects, New Jersey Chapter and Region. Applicants for membership in the AIA are assigned to this Section if they live or work within the domain of the Section, or upon special request of the applicant.

The objects of AIA South Jersey are to: organize and unite in fellowship the members of the architectural profession; to promote the aesthetic, scientific, and practical efficiency of the profession; to advance the science and art of planning and building by advancing the standards of architectural education, training, and practice; to coordinate the building industry and the profession of architecture to insure the advancement of the living standards of people through their improved environment; and to make the profession of ever increasing service to society.

AIA South Jersey’s mission is to support its members and promote the public's understanding of Architecture through advocacy, education, and service.
